Ok, I just went to the local liquor store to try out some new beer. I have been surviving on the DogFish IPA for quite sometime now and thought it would be a good idea to try something now.
The Abita Purple haze caught my eye. I remember having a champagne flavored Belgian beer which was hmmmm, too sweet for my taste. I was expecting the the taste to be sweet, but it wasn't. It tastes almost like a Blue Moon with an added Raspberry flavor. The color is a bit darker than Blue Moon. I wouldn't say its the best beer I ever had( my favorite being Laffe and DogFish IPA) but its worth giving it a try.
